Kindle Tips and Tricks: Accessing Email and Text Messaging

You can access any web based email account with your Kindle. Many sites have versions of their pages made for mobile devices. For example, the mobile page for MSN is located at mobile.msn.com.

This comes in handy on trips where you don’t have access to a computer.

Advanced Tip: You can use your web based email account to send text messages to cell phones. Address the email to the 10 digit cell phone number at the appropriate address. For example, to text a Sprint customers with the cell phone number 1234567890, send the email to 1234567890@messaging.sprintpcs.com
