Author Spotlight: Victorine E. Lieske

Victorine is the author of Not What She Seems, a romantic suspense. It’s not often you run into someone willing to give their time to help out a fellow writer. Over the last few months, Victorine has helped me by critiquing three of my stories. Her insight and advice have helped me polish my stories and refine my skills.

A Little About Victorine

Victorine Lieske has have always loved to read and to write.

She was born in 1972 in a small town in Nebraska. Her parents, who love genealogy, named her after an ancestor, Victorine DeVilbis.

Victorine majored in Art at Ricks College in Idaho, now called BYU Idaho. In 1995 she married her husband, Charles. They raise four children from their home in Seward, NE. Together, they own and operate Victorine Originals Rubber Stamps where she designs many of the stamps, which they manufacture.

In April of 2010 she published her first novel, Not What She Seems, on the Kindle. By the end of June, she had sold over 600 ebooks, and had requests for her book in paperback. Her novel is now available for Kindle and in paperback.
