1st & 2nd Gen Kindle Tip and Tricks: Searching on Amazon

Amazon is very good at connecting its customers to the products they want. They do this by providing lots of ways for people to search their listings. This is especially handy when it comes to books.

You can either browse Amazon’s categories using the main menu or search for what you want. There are basic and an advanced search options. The basic search will search by a book’s title and author. The advanced search allows you to search by keyword, content and other fields. You can also search using multiple fields to refine your search. In addition to these two search engines, you can search by tags. You can access this search from Amazon’s Most Popular Tags page or through your account settings.

Also, each book description on Amazon has a list of tags and categories associated with that book. These are found towards the bottom of the book’s page. You can click on them to pull up a list of other books with similartags and categories.
