No, this isn’t the title for my next book though I might have to keep it in mind for later. This is an update for what’s been going on with me this past week.
As some of you might know, I live in New Rochelle, New York. I’m about fifteen minutes outside of New York City. Last week, Sandy hit the area hard. I got off lucky. The storm only knocked out my phone, cable, and internet service. A lot of things I normally take for granted became major chores because of road closures, downed power lines, and other mishaps. Just read some of the headlines about the storm and you’ll get a good idea of how messed up things are in the tri-state area. To top it all off, the storm ruined my plans to celebrate my birthday and Halloween as well as my trip to Rhode Island this weekend.
That said, it’s been a very productive week. Without cable or the internet to distract me, I’ve caught up on my writing projects and finally sent off the latest book to Noah for editing. I’m still hunting for a cover to do it justice. This week, I’m going to try to get back into my usual routine but election day and other things will probably prevent that so please bear with me as I play catch up.
