These are the costumes I am currently working on. I might add another costume to the list based on time and finances. Also, I might end up working on a costume not on this list because someone asked me to do something on the spur of the moment.
Bishop was one of my favorite X-men. He was unique with slightly different motivations than the rest of team. The first costume I did was a casual version in black because I was okaying bartender at a party. I’m currently working on his costume from Wolverine and the X-men. This version is my favorite portrayal of Bishop and I really like the look.
Planned for HeroesCon and DragonCon.
This is currently a work in progress. Kevin MAtchstick is from the Matt Wagner’s Mage the Hero Discovered Series. On the surface, it’s a simple costume to do but you need a number of props to pull it off. Even so, a lot of people won’t recognize the costume or the character. I’m going to do it anyway because I really like the character.
Planned for CTCon and a private photo shoot.
Farscape is one of my favorite sci-fi series. After watching John Crichton suit up as a Peacekeeper during his ill-fated infiltration of Gamak Base, I put together my own Peacekeeper outfit. Despite it being mostly leather, the costume was comfortable to wear even in the heat of Atlanta during the summer. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the original costume. I’m currently remaking this one from scratch.
Planned for DragonCon and Super Megafest.
